CHARACTER INFO
• Character Name: Dick Grayson
• Character Age: Mid to late 20s.
• Character Canon: DC Comics
• Canon Point: Nightwing (2016) issue 81.
• Character History: here!
• Character Personality:
• Character Skills:
• Dick is a trained acrobat: he's been performing feats of great physical skill since he was a very small child and has spent the years since ensuring his body remains in peak condition. He's a gymnast, a tight-rope walker, a trapeze artist who doesn't need a net below. So he's pretty, you know, bendy and physically fit.
• Under Batman, he developed extensive detective skills. With a law degree under his belt, Dick is clever and also knows the right things to look for in wrong situations.
• He's a fighter, and has trained in several martial arts under numerous tutors. Bruce has acknowledged that out of all the Robins, Dick is the most difficult to defeat in combat.
• He has basic medical training, as well as knows how to perform some surgical procedures as taught to him by Alfred Pennyworth.
• He was Batman once. This list is very long. He's good at fighting and crime solving and blending in.
• Character Inventory:
— ITEM ONE: Escrima sticks. These are shown to have built in lasers, a switch for flashbombs, for gassing others, etcetc. However, given the ridiculousness of comics and how often what they are capable of changes, the only custom upgrades I'll be keeping in game are the ability to combine them together into a bo-staff, and the taser. The taser will have enough charge for no more than a couple uses.
— ITEM TWO: A couple wingdings, if it's okay! These are batarangs, they're just shaped a little differently.
— ITEM THREE: Domino mask. While it's clothing he's technically wearing, it has some extra capabilities that would likely make it count as an item. It has thermal vision, can detect radio waves, and has a camera in it which connects to Oracle's system. Obviously, only the thermal vision and maybe the radio wave detector will be of any use in game. I imagine this is battery powered, too, and will eventually die.

• Character Personality:
Dick Grayson is many things to many people. He was the first Robin, he lit the path for the ones who followed. A leader, a brother, an island for shelter during tumultuous storms. He's the one who never gives up, who Batman has considered his greatest success, the light at the end of the tunnel. But Dick Grayson is more than just what others see in him.
— Charming: Born to circus performers, Dick was raised in the spotlight - and it shows. He's quick-witted and always ready with a pun that no one wanted to hear. He exudes confidence with an effortless charm that makes him easy to get along with - for most people. And when he finds himself in new and uncertain circumstances? Dick is flexible, and can bend to fit as needed. It helps that he's very extroverted: he finds strength in his friends and family.
— Natural Born Leader: Starting one's vigilante career under Batman is no joke: under his tutelage, he learned not just combat and detective skills, but also honed his instinct for leading. With a natural skill on the battlefield and ability to direct others' where their abilities suit most, Dick has proved himself to be quite the leader. After Batman's "death", many turned to Dick for answers of what would come next. It wasn't a position Dick was ready to be in, but he recognized that he was most-suited. Even when uncertain of how he should handle a situation, he tries to ensure that those who would be most effected aren't around to see it. He may not have superhuman abilities like other heroes do, but he is trustworthy, dependable, resourceful - unshakeable when he's dug his teeth into something. And when the the cards are stacked against him - if there's a chance he can help, he'll take it. It's this quality that encourages others to follow after him: they know Dick Grayson will always have others' best interest in mind before he makes a move.
— Empathetic: It was a shared grief that had Bruce Wayne reaching out to Dick on the day his parents died. They both witnessed a tragedy at a young age, and it was the empathy Bruce felt that brought Dick into the vigilante circle. But while Bruce had internalized his pain and used it to push himself forward - Dick has used his as a means to connect with others, occasionally relating to them by telling them he's experienced something similar, when applicable. His compassion is what drives his mission: not necessarily to stop crime, although that is part of it. But to protect others from having similar experiences to what he's had, to give them hope that things can get better. While his mentor leads with his head, Dick leads with his heart. He's determined to give back to the world, to help make it just a little brighter.
— Unyielding: His conviction may be one of his greatest strengths, but it can also be a weakness. While loyal to those around him, Dick also has an unshakable sense of right and wrong. He won't hesitate to speak out, even if it means standing his ground against those who he loves most. This has caused some strife between him and Bruce on multiple occasions, as well as several other heroes. There are times when his instinct to lead has also created tension: not every situation warrants someone to dictate others' movements, but Dick will burst into a battlefield and give direction regardless.
— Temperamental: While usually known as the more sociable, easy to get along with Robin, Dick does have a quick temper that simmers beneath the surface. Years of training have taught him better control, leaving few scenarios in which he would lose control of himself, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. He's crossed the line, saved only by Bruce's quick thinking to resuscitate the Joker after Dick had killed him. But his empathy tends to temper his anger. He has been able to show restraint especially with people whose circumstances were less than ideal. As Bruce had told him when he was a child, one never knows the circumstances that led to the violence they've displayed.
— Adrenaline Junkie: Even without metahuman abilities, Dick seeks out dangerous situations with almost reckless abandon. He dives headfirst into the impossible - but it's not out of carelessness, it's out of a fierce love for life. Death will come for everyone at some point - but the point of being alive is to experience living before it does. Most may look for a net before releasing the trapeze bar to ensure that even if they fall, something will be there to catch them. Dick Grayson doesn't, he leaps first, checks second.
